Fire Extinguishers
We can supply and maintain fire extinguishers to suit your requirements.
Fire is classified by the type of material fuelling it and it is essential that the correct extinguisher is used to combat it. You as the employer must provide your staff with adequate means of tackling a fire in the workplace as well as clear signage for the type of fire an extinguisher is fit for.
It is a legal responsibility to ensure the extinguisher should be serviced annually by a competetant individual to standard BS 5306 part 3. In addition the onus is on employers to ensure extinguishers are kept in working order in between servicing and should be inspected insitu at least monthly.
